Your tour beyond the pale begins with an early morning pick-up at your Fairbanks area hotel. Your local guide will pick you up and insure you personalized service for each member of the tour. Even in the summer, weather can change quickly and dramatically, so dress appropriately and be prepared for changing conditions. A brief stop as you head out will allow you a chance to grab any supplies, from drinks and snacks to last minute clothing options, before departing north out of Fairbanks.
This tour is a full-day adventure, departing at 8am, lasting upto 12 hours or more and is designed to squeeze every opportunity to safely seek out wildlife and photo opportunities in the quiet,remote regions you will visit. Hills, mountains, valley and river crossingss filled with moose, black bear, grizzly bears, caribou, dall sheep, wolves, wolverines, lynx and fox become more prominent the farther you head north. Cross the mighty Yukon River and pass Finger Mountain along the way, your local Alaskan guide will fill you in on the local history, geology and unique features that make this particular part of the world one not to be missed on any Alaskan vacation.
